What I will primarily blog about…

Posted: March 20, 2010 in General Updates

I have not been posting blogs on a regular basis in the midst of our transition to moving to CA.  This has been for a couple of reasons.  First, moving across the country and starting a new job is a little crazy at times!  Second, most of the information I had to share was covered much better by my wife on her blog (www.kendallhibiske.wordpress.com).  She does a great job of posting pictures and telling about what we have been doing.

As a result, I have decided and talked with Kendall about what I am going to write about on my blog.  I will be writing at least one post a week.  Mainly I will be posting on weekends when I have time off.  My blog will not be as much about what Kendall and I are doing, but I will focus more on the things that I am learning as a pastor, leader, husband, and follower of Christ.  In the past several weeks since we have moved I feel that I have learned so much about leadership (in my home and church) and in my relationship with Christ.  I am continuing to learn and grow as a leader and I would like to share these things with you.  I will also be sharing different things that we as a church have going on and ways that we are seeking to reach people in our community for Christ.

My goal is not to bore you, so hopefully you’ll still check in on a regular basis.  I hope that through the blogs I post you will be encouraged and challenged in your faith.  Who knows maybe some of the things I have been learning might help you in your relationship with Jesus, relationship with your spouse, or even your leadership abilities.  So check back from time to time!
