Below are some books I have read that I recommend.  I will be updating this list the more I read.  I have divided them based on categories.  The categories are in alphabetical order.  The books in each category are simply listed, there is no method to my listing them in the order I did.

Relationship w/ Jesus

1. “Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life” by Donald S. Whitney
2. “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan
3. “Holiness” by Henry Blackaby
4. “Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire” by Jim Cymbala

General Christian

1. “Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit” by Francis Chan (Great book on the Holy Spirit.  He covers the theological, biblical, and practical (daily living) aspects of the Holy Spirit.)
2. “Just Walk Across the Room” by Bill Hybels (Probably the best evangelism book I have ever read!)

Theology

1. “Systematic Theology” by Wayne Grudem (This is a BIG theology book!  May be dry in some places but it will give you a full understanding of systematic theology.)
2. “Christian Theology” by Millard Erickson (This is a BIG theology book!  May be dry in some places but it will give you a full understanding of systematic theology.)
